Frequent questions

You can join Club Athletic online here: https://clubathletic.athletic-club.eus/en/home by clicking on the CHOOSE YOUR CARD button and filling in the form to get your own supporter’s card.
The Club Athletic subscription can be paid by VISA or Mastercard credit cards.
Once you have paid your subscription fee, you will receive a welcome e-mail confirming your registration. You will receive your personalised gorritazuria membership card in the welcome pack within 5 working days. In the case of international subscriptions, this may vary depending on the country of destination.
Your subscription is automatically renewed at the end of 365 days after you sign up.
You can request to unsubscribe from Club Athletic by sending an e-mail to [email protected] or by calling us directly on +34 94 661 20 04. You must unsubscribe at least one month before the annual subscription expires.
Welcome packs cannot be exchanged or returned. If you have received a wrong or faulty item, please contact us by e-mail at [email protected]. We will contact you as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
Deliveries within mainland Spain are free of charge. These are the charges for all other destinations:
  • Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla: €15.
  • International zone A: Andorra, Albania, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Vatican, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Finland, France, Ghana, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Republic of Ireland, Russia, Romania, South Africa and Ukraine: €11.
  • International Zone B: United Kingdom, Guernsey, Jersey, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Turkey: €15.
  • International zone C: United States, Canada and Mexico : € 22 .
  • Rest of the world: Shipping costs:  25 .
Deliveries within mainland Spain are free of charge. For the rest of the places:
  • Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla : € 3.
  • Outside Spain : € 5.
Through the official website https://www.athletic-club.eus/en/tickets by clicking on the next match to be played at San Mamés. Club Athletic members, who have a 72-hour advance ticket purchase period compared to other customers, will be able to buy up to two tickets for the fixture. To do so, you must use the username and password that were sent via email after completing the Club Athletic registration process. Tickets for the general public normally go on sale at the beginning of the week before the match.
Athletic Club members can enjoy the 5% discount in official Athletic Club stores by showing their personalized membership card or by identifying themselves in the online store https://shop.athletic-club.eus/ using the credentials provided in the welcome / registration email.
  • 1. Click on the “Club Athletic” button of the match you want to attend.
  • 2. Choose the part of the stadium where you want to sit and choose your seats.
  • 3. A box will open where you can enter the username and password you received in your registration email.
  • 4. Validate your seats.
  • 5. If the supporter is a minor, they will be able to purchase a ticket at a special price, while stocks last . To do so, enter the code “INFANTIL” in the “Club Athletic promotion” box.
  • 6. Enter your personal details and those of other attendees, as well as the email address where you want to receive your tickets.
  • 7. Make the payment.
  • 8. On match day, go through the turnstiles using a printed ticket or a ticket downloaded on to your mobile phone.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Please note:

  • If you’re looking to purchase tickets for a group of nine or more, please contact [email protected].
  • There will be a virtual queue for matches of high demand. We recommend you keep the browser open in order to avoid losing the number assigned in the queue.
  • The selected seats will be saved in the cart for 10 minutes. If the browser is closed with the seats in the cart, or if the same seats are selected on another device, they will be blocked until the 10 minutes have elapsed. If a user selects but does not purchase the tickets, they will be available again after 10 minutes.
  • If the page is freezes or crashes, we recommend clearing the cache.

Yes, you can go to Subscription Adminstration and join Premium at any time in the ‘My account’ section. The change is made on the spot and a new 12-month subscription is generated.

Yes, depending on the number of months you have had your Club Athletic membership, we offer you a discount on the new fee. You can consult the discount table below:



The voucher can be used at all LaLiga fixtures except matches against Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Real Sociedad. The voucher can only be used once per season.

Club Athletic Premium priority window is activated 24 hours before the pre-sale for Club Athletic supporters. This priority period is only activated for UEFA Europa League, Copa and LaLiga matches against Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Real Sociedad. Premium supporters will be able to purchase up to 2 tickets, from the start of the priority period until the end of the Club Athletic pre-sale.

For the rest of the matches, they will have access to the same pre-sale as Club Athletic supporters and will be able to buy up to 2 tickets.

Yes, if you prefer to downgrade to a Club Athletic card, and enjoy fewer advantages, you can request a change of subscription from the ‘My Account’ tab, in the ‘ Subscription management’ section. The change will be effective from the expiry date of your current membership.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription and become an Athleticzale by accessing the Subscription Administration section at ‘My Account’. The cancellation must be requested at least 1 month before your annual subscription expires and will take effect from the expiry date of your current membership card.

Inside the Welcome Pack you will receive an invite from AC Museum. You can exchange it for a free “San Mames Tour+ Museum with audio guide” ticket at the museum reception desk upon presentation of your Club Athletic Premium membership card.

The Athleticzale digital membership brings together the entire Athletic Club community. From the ‘My account’ area you can manage your subscriptions and keep up to date with all the Athletic Club news. You will also have access to the official Athletic Club magazine with all the articles and interviews. With this membership, you also have access to the Athletic Club app and the official club shop.
